What do you love about Hillel?
Hillel is my “home away from home.” It has not only enabled me to have an easier transition to college
life when I was a freshman, but has allowed me to form great friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
I am very honored to be serving my second term on the Executive Board as Chair Woman to ensure that
students have the same positive opportunity that I have had and to promote my love and enthusiasm
for Judaism.

What do you like to do besides Hillel stuff?
Besides my active participation with Hillel, I am also a member of Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor
Society, Phi Sigma Eta Honor Society, College of Education Student College Council, and Psi Chi Honor
Society. I also love to spend time with my friends and family, play tennis, read, and travel.

What has been your favorite Hillel event?
My favorite Hillel event is definitely the Jewish Wedding & Bar Mitzvah, there is always such a great
turnout and it’s a lot of fun!

Do you have a favorite Jewish food?
Falafel and hummus !

What do you love about Hillel?
Hillel is a great place to meet people, to learn & connect with Jewish Life on campus and to HAVE FUN!!! I have met many close friends at Hillel events, people that I am sure will be friends with for a long time!

What do you like to do besides Hillel?
Besides Hillel, I am involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, participate in various triathlons, and I am a Team Leader and member of the 715th Military Police Company of the Florida Army National Guard.

What has been your favorite Hillel event?
I can’t just choose one favorite event, but it would be between the Friday Night Shabbat Services and when we had a humantashen baking event during Purim in Spring 2011.

Do you have a favorite Jewish food?
My favorite Jewish food is Matzah Balls and Bagels with Lox!!!

Hello Jewish Knights!

I hope you are all enjoying your first day of classes! I wanted to take the time to tell you all about our awesome Welcome Week activities that start TODAY!

Yes, we all know the sad news that Maggie Moo’s has closed on campus, but that won’t stop us from having our ice cream! The ice cream social is STILL ON and will be held outside where Maggie Moo’s used to be (by the Arena). We will be selling our own ice cream for $1 (the same price as it always is) and having a great time!

Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity

The Nu Delta Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity was founded here at UCF in 1997, with the aim of bringing an aspect to Greek Life that has not previously existed here: a Jewish Fraternity. Since then, our brothers have constantly performed and outperformed themselves in an attempt to become the best Fraternity here at the University of Central Florida.

AEPi was founded to provide opportunities for Jewish men seeking the best possible college and fraternity experience. We have maintained the integrity of our purpose by strengthening our ties to the Jewish community and serving as a link between high school and post-college career life.

What do you love about Hillel?
I love being able to go to a place where I’m surrounded by people who have something in common with me- being Jewish! It’s a great way to make new friends, meet new people, and try new things. I also love the sense of family it brings.

What do you like to do besides Hillel stuff?
Every Sunday afternoon I coach special needs cheerleading, and I love it. I also like to dance, bake, and go to the beach!

What has been your favorite Hillel event?
I can’t choose just one!

Bagels!!!

I was born in Coral Springs, but have lived in Lake Worth, FL my whole life.

My major is interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in humanities and social behavior with a minor in marketing, and a certificate in non-profit management.

What do you like to do besides Hillel stuff?
I love to volunteer, especially with the homeless; I have a passion for helping others, specifically the homeless. I also have an infatuation with my best friends Arielle Ozery, whom I affectionately call my twin(izzle), and Chelsea Trynz, who has been my bomb (dot com) since da fourth grade. I am an avid Pretty Little Liars watcher, I despise scary movies…they scare me. I absolutely LOVE musicals and I always have a front row seat for the sunset!

What has been your favorite Hillel event?
The Challaween Challah baking.

Do you have a favorite Jewish food?
My favorite jewish food is Bagels! Especially Garlic =)

I am majoring in Journalism with a minor in Judaic Studies

What do you love about Hillel?
I love Hillel because I am an outrageous Israeli and love that I can use Hillel as a resource for my Israeli activism. I thoroughly enjoy connecting and engaging in fun, exciting activities with other Jewish students who I can identify with.

What do you like to do besides Hillel stuff?
I like to play with my friends all day long. I am obsessed with Glee, love all broadway and Disney music, enjoy reading about the Holocaust, am addicted to coffee, love long walks on the beach, and bubble baths.

What has been your favorite Hillel event?
Due to my sick addiction to coffee, my favorite Hillel event has been “Coffee and Cheescake Knight” during Welcome Back Week.

Do you have a favorite Jewish food?
I only love Israeli falafel, not American. American falafel does not even compare.
