What do you love about Hillel?
Before I became active in Hillel, I really had nothing to do in my spare time and nothing to show for my time in college. I was bored often and hung out with only my same friends from high school. Hillel helped me get involved in community service, intramural sports, participate in activities, and make new friends. I went on Alternative Spring Break to New Orleans with Hillel my freshman year and from then on never looked back. This past November I decided to run for the Vice President of Marketing and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have met so many people, I have gained leadership skills, and not only that, it has been a great learning experience.
What do you like doing besides Hillel stuff?
Shopping, hanging out with friends, and going to the movies.
What is your favorite Hillel event?
Bagel Brunch! At home, we had brunches when I was younger and I loved them because my whole family would get together and catch up on each others lives. Hillel Bagel Brunch acts the same way because everyone has their own interests and it is a great way to catch up. Of course, free bagels don’t hurt either.
Favorite Jewish Food?
Chocolate Covered Matzah, yum!
